Our Molten Rain designs are unique & cannot be replicated due to the metalsmithing technique used to make them. Water casting is where molten metal is poured directly into cold water causing the liquid metal (silver) to shock & solidify into organic shapes. The height the metal is poured from can influence the shape the metal forms, from cup shapes & droplets, to crinkled paper looking pieces.
Because the final shapes are entirely random and unpredictable, it is an incredibly popular method for creating one-of-a-kind jewellery elements that are as unique as the wearer.
